Jose Yudici

Jose Yudici, born in Palma de Mallorca, is a Mindhead associate in the Business Development Hospitality industry. He is multilingual, speaking Spanish, Catalan, English and German.
In 1995 he won the “EUROPE PRIZE”, awarded by the European Parliament, the Representation of the European Commission in Barcelona and the Balearic Centre Europe, in its first edition, for his work on the creation of an informative magazine on the European Union. He then began his studies in Hotel Real Estate Investment and Asset Management Certificate, as well as in training at the Cornell University Program in Ithaca New York.
He completed his studies with a Master of International Economics (MBA) at the University of Paderborn (Germany).
He has also completed a specialisation in marketing and management of international companies in Europe. In this way he obtained the Official Hotel Manager’s Licence, awarded by the General Secretariat of Tourism of the Ministry of Economy in 2001. Diploma in D.E.A.T. (Diploma in Tourism Companies and Activities) from the Escuela Superior de Turismo de las Baleares, which officially qualifies him to manage tourism companies. He studied to become an Internal Auditor of Quality and Environmental Management, given by the School of Tourism of the Balearic Islands.
Since December 2022 and up to the present, his professional career has been very enriching. He is Ceo/Founder of Philoxenia Hospitality S.L, a company he created to offer 3 services of Hotel Expansion, Hotel M&A Processes, and Asset Management Services, creating a white label 2. 0 “Plug&Play” model where the focus is to help the needs of owners to digitize the Asset focus profitability, prioritizing revenue and data management in a Live P&L way and improve performance, by analyzing, auditing and applying the “kick wins” detected to apply them and improve the GOP and therefore the value of the Asset.
In 2022 he has worked as CEO at Smy Hotels, the international white label management company, leading directly with reporting to the ownership the areas of Development, company strategy, all the company’s revenues, as well as Marketing, and communication: Being responsible for expansion, he has participated directly in the negotiation of the computer sale process of Smy Puerto De la Cruz to Atom Hotels (GMA), the signing of the Joint Venture of Expansion with the Wyndham Hotel Group, the creation of an “SPV” as a lever of financial expansion with OK Mobility. As well as the search, direct negotiation and signing of 11 independent hotels in only 10 months, in Greece (Mykonos +3 / Santorini +2 / Rome / Alghero-Sardinia / Brussels / Lisbon /Algarve- Portugal / Fuerteventura.
In 2020 she worked in Smy Hotels of Logitravel Group, as Chief Development Officer, leading the expansion in the hotel division of Logitravel Group, creating all the expansion processes as well as defining a strategy of “white label manager” to have an “asset management focus” and face the expansion adapted to the needs of owners and investors. As main achievement, the signing of a Reference Operator agreement for expansion with Wyndham Hotel & Resort brands in 20 hotels in 10 years.
In 2018 to 2020 he was Chief Commercial & Development Officer at Roxa Hospitality, being in charge of all revenues of the company, with a portfolio of close to 100 million total revenues in all its destinations, Spain, Italy, Cuba and Dominican Rep. Leading a direct team of up to 25 people from the commercial team. Developing all the company’s Commercial, Marketing and Promotion strategy for the different hotels and outbound markets in Europe and America for the company. In addition, he has also led the expansion strategy of the company for its hotel brands Blau Hotels, FIT Hotels, Sigillum Hotels in the strategic map of the company.
From 2016 to 2018 he held the position of Development Director in the Global Development department of Melia Hotels International. He was Director of Global Expansion for the Tryp by Wyndham brand, and responsible for Global expansion in Russia and CIS, as well as responsible for all Take Over opportunities that may arise for the company. Actively seeking new projects and hotels in both city and resort areas to incorporate them into the Melia Hotels International portfolio on a leasing, management or franchise basis. Responsible for the Project from the first contact with the property, until its signature with all the processes that affect all areas. Being responsible for the preparation of the future profit and loss account of the project, adaptation costs, creating the appropriate business case to negotiate the agreement contract completely until the incorporation of the hotel in the most advantageous conditions for both the property and Melia Hotels International.
In this phase, he was directly responsible for the MHI and Wyndham Hotel Group relationship for the Tryp Hotels brand, participating in a multidisciplinary work team for the re-branding of Tryp by Wyndham with new attributes to bring value to its owners beyond the ADR. As a project in search of high-value services and spaces within an asset to increase its profitability.
From 2011 to 2016, he held the position of Senior Key Account Manager in the Global Leisure Sales Department of Melia Hotels International. He was head of the Central European, Russian and Eastern European markets for the marketing (Contract Negotiation / Yield / Marketing Plan Development / B2B and B2C Presentations) of all Melia Hotels Int. holiday hotels worldwide with a revenue portfolio of 66,5 Million Euros globally. Being also responsible for the entire GLobal Leisure Sales Department, for the Budget / Planning / Execution of all Co-Marketing with Key Accounts across Europe to promote all our holiday hotels worldwide with an Annual Marketing Budget of 2,4 Million Euros in Actions. Having direct responsibility for a team of 7 people. Specialising in Offline to Online marketing across Central Europe, Eastern Europe and Russia. From 2008 to 2011, he held the position of Key Account Manager in the Global Leisure Sales Dept. of Meliá Hotels International (formerly Sol Melia Hotels & Resorts). He was responsible for the Commercialization with Contract Negotiation/Yield/Comarketing of Sol Melia’s Vacation Hotels worldwide, with the Key Accounts in Central Europe. Changed position from 01/01/08 to 01/12/08, to Sales & Promotion Manager in the Global Leisure Sales Dept. of Sol Meliá Hotels. Managing and being responsible for the Comarketing with the Major Central European TT.OO’s, Organizing fairs, making presentations, RoadShows and Sales Blitz, promoting all Sol Meliá Hotels in Central Europe. Worked from 01/09/06 to 31/12/07, as a promotion and sales executive in the Promotions Department of Sol Meliá Hotels. Representing the Corporate and Organizing fairs, making presentations, RoadShows for TT.OO and Sales Blitz, promoting the 350 Sol Meliá Hotels all over Europe.
She has worked in 2006, as assistant manager of the Croissanterie Mallorca group. Supervising the daily operations, sales, purchases, personnel, brand image, as well as the quality plan and appcc of 18 croissanteries with 92 people directly under my responsibility. Made the manual of processes and procedures to Franchise the company and implementing areas of attractiveness to increase revenue in the premises. Registered the company in the franchise network and obtained 2 new franchises for expansion.
Worked between 2004 and 2005 as a senior consultant assistant to management, for Blaunia Systems that develops a hotel management program called Blaunia.hotel and where I have performed consulting tasks to managers and hotel owners as well as training, implementation and commercial demos of the program.
Worked between 2002 and 2004 as a senior web content consultant for the German web security software company Web Washer (Siemens Group) in the online marketing and product quality department in Paderborn (Germany) for the Latin American and Southern European market.
