He has a degree in Economics from the Complutense University of Madrid, with different postgraduate courses at the School of Economics of the College of Economists of Madrid and the University of Alcalá de Henares. He began his career in multinational and multicultural environments as CFO of the companies that the ED & F Man group owned in Spain, Italy and the Caribbean. He lived in Italy, Spain and Cuba developing relationships at the highest level, both in investee companies and in institutional relationships.

During this stage, he went through the group’s industrial assets department in due diligence processes for the acquisition of industrial assets in Portugal and America and reorganization and merger processes of the different entities of the ED&F Man group in Spain, seeking synergies and cost reduction.

He was a member of Management Committees and Boards of Directors of different investee companies in the sugar, agri-food and agro-industrial sectors. He knows the mechanics of soft commodity futures markets in London, New York and Chicago and the EU’s Common Agricultural Policy. He has a high degree of interest and knowledge in digitization processes, risk control and innovation.

He ultimately decided to put all this experience into Mindhead’s strategic consulting project.
